Regional Financial Controller

We are looking for a Regional Financial Controller
to join our office in Belgrade

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial control of the region: Serbia (home market), North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo in the beginning, with possibility to extend markets portfolio in a future
• Monthly reporting: monthly and year-to-date Profit & Loss (P&L) results of the region, comparison vs last year and budget, analysis and interpretation of figures
• Semi-annual budget preparation: country Backoffice budgeting; budget of selected P&L lines for business units (stores, eCommerce)
• Cost control: cost analysis vs benchmark (targets / other countries), seeking for cost optimization, focus on OPEX / SALES improvement
• Monthly presentations to CFO, Financial Controlling Director and International Business Directors with overview of financial results in the region
• Forecasting: cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly, seasonal); P&L forecasts (monthly, seasonal, annual); assisting in intercompany margin planning for the region, etc.
• Annual reporting: assistance to year-end close process, cooperation with External and Internal Audit
• Monitoring of correct usage of cost centers hierarchies / P&L lines according to Group's policy; providing guidance for region's Chief Accountants
• Other reports / ad-hoc tasks requested by Country Directors and Group's management
• Cooperation with region's Country Directors, Chief Accountants and other regional managers; as well as International Business Directors, Group's Financial Controlling, Sales Analysis teams (all brands), Expansion teams, etc.
• Reporting to: Group's Financial Controller and Country Director

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

Professional Skills:

• Experience in a similar position, min. 2-3 years
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
• Strong background in financial management
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, first of all Excel (advanced user, working with lots of data). Knowledge of Power BI is a big additional plus
• Possibility to create from the scratch advanced reports / tools required to Country Directors for making business decisions
• Very good knowledge of English (C1, Business English)
