Position Overview
As the FP&A Controller you will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis function within the Ball Serbia business unit. You will be accountable for reporting on Ball Belgrade's sales, metal, logistics and SG&A costs. You will work closely with the central EMEA FP&A team to ensure that monthly reporting and quarterly reforecasting is completed timely and aligned to the wider region.

You will also supporter the wider Belgrade plant team on ad-hoc financial analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Calculation and true up of monthly revenue for metal / currency settlements and volume rebates.
• Accountability for local inventory valuation and control including aged stock provisions and inventory revaluation adjustments.
• Full responsibility of logistics costs covering packaging, freight and logistics. Liaising with local logistics teams to ensure that costs are understood and explainable.
• Ownership of LRD SG&A costs including working closely with local departments to ensure full cost control across discretionary spend buckets.
• Responsible for full contribution margin analysis across revenue and metal including supporting bridges to explain price, volume and mix impacts vs. latest financial forecasts.
• Preparation of full non-plant reporting and accompanying commentary.
• Work closely with operational finance and accounting teams to deliver on month end close processes.
• Responsible for quarterly reforecasting and AOP processes for Belgrade cost areas including revenue, metal, logistics and SG&A.
• Close coordination with core FP&A team to ensure full alignment on regional processes and reporting.
• Provides reports and insights to local management regarding the results achieved and suggests areas for focus.
• Ad-hoc finance support provided to Belgrade plant and sales team.
• Accountable for local Sox reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of precision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team collaboration and good interpersonal skills
• Proactiveness and result orientation
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
• Experience in the manufacturing industry and working knowledge of AP/AR processes are a plus
