Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to support the growth and evolution of our business.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Everli, you will work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and analysts to build smart, scalable, and reliable solutions that power a seamless user experience. You will join a small, distributed, domain-driven team where autonomy and ownership are key. Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, with a strong focus on identifying automation opportunities
• Collaborate with the QA and engineering teams on estimation, test planning, automation strategy, execution, and reporting for mobile and web app releases
• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites (UI, API, integration, E2E) to ensure scalable and efficient test coverage
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues, using automation tools and logs to accelerate root-cause analysis
• Be responsible for day-to-day validation of mobile and web apps, combining automated and manual testing where necessary to ensure the highest quality prior to release
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automated and manual test cases
• Give daily updates on testing progress, automation metrics, and identify blocking issues
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs, while proactively preventing regressions through automation
• Execute smoke, integration, and E2E testing using a hybrid manual/automation approach
• Perform thorough regression testing using automated suites, expanding coverage as bugs are resolved
• Stay up-to-date with emerging test automation tools, frameworks, and strategies, and guide the team toward continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in mobile or web app testing (4–6+ years preferred, including automation experience)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, automation frameworks, tools, and processes
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated and manual test cases
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon Studio, Appium)
• Experience with Atlassian development tools, i.e., Jira, Confluence
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies and new testing approaches
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person who thrives in ownership-driven teams
• Able to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum process
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with SQL for data validation
• JavaScript/Java/Kotlin/Python knowledge for automation scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Experience testing Microservices architecture (API testing, contract testing, distributed systems validation)
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab)
