Role Summary

We're looking for a QA Engineer - Infotainment to join our team at Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies. You'll have the chance to work on the development and design of software automation, focusing on end-to-end customer use cases.

Responsibilities

• Make automation framework robust & modular with utility files and structured test
• Responsible for maintaining and improving the overall health and stability of Rivian's automation library
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in automation framework and test cases
• Develop, Design, and maintain software automation of end-to-end customer use cases
• Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the rest of the development teams to ensure growing test coverage
• Role should consist of 85% coding/automation work, 15% manual testing or test development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience working as software developer, SDET, or QA Engineer heavily utilizing Python
• Proven ability to develop high-quality code in Python
• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Android and Linux systems
• Excellent documentation and organization skills
• Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate
• Great teammate with a thirst to learn and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
