Grid Dynamics, a worldwide provider of software services specializing in guiding Fortune 1000 companies through digital transformation, is currently looking for a DevOps Lead, to join our team in Belgrade or Novi Sad. This role involves assessing the current state, identifying opportunities for optimization, and leading the implementation of scalable, efficient solutions in collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilities:

  • Define, maintain, and drive the roadmap for DevOps improvements across the account.
  • Lead infrastructure and process optimizations to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using best DevOps practices.
  • Monitor system performance and availability using observability tools and dashboards.
  • Promote and enforce cost optimization and cloud usage best practices (FinOps).
  • Ensure secure and compliant cloud infrastructure through proper IAM, networking, and firewall configurations.
  • Automate workflows and recurring tasks through scripting and infrastructure as code.
  • Contribute to documentation (e.g., ADRs, runbooks, knowledge base) to support knowledge sharing.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams via tools like Slack, Jira, and Confluence to ensure smooth collaboration.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Cloud Platform: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with tools such as Looker, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
  • IAM: Solid understanding of GCP Identity and Access Management, service accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and modern DevOps pipelines.
  • Networking & Security: Good grasp of cloud networking, firewall rules, and security best practices.
  • Database Knowledge: Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • FinOps: Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and managing cloud spend.
  • Documentation: Experience with creating technical documentation, including Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
