Position: Appearance Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update employee appearance records to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide training sessions to employees on appearance guidelines and best practices.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to appearance standards based on feedback and organizational directives, and oversee their implementation.
  • Review and approve new employees appearance prior to their participation in work activities.
  • Develop and distribute clear documentation outlining appearance standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality checks across projects to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Share updates and relevant information on appearance guidelines through internal communication channels.
  • Periodically update and refine appearance-related policies and manuals.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and sessions to reinforce appearance standards and best practices.
  • Review and decide on requests for appearance adjustments, ensuring alignment with established criteria.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in Turkish (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. As well as strong proficiency in English (at least B2).
  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in personal grooming, styling, or a related field, with at least 1 year in an appearance/standards-focused role.
  • Diploma or professional certification in hairstyling, makeup, or related discipline.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in basic PC applications for scheduling and communication.
  • Availability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to maintain professional standards and address concerns effectively.
  • Experience in makeup and hairstyling for media, on-camera, or broadcast environments would be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of skincare products and techniques to support comfort and appearance during long shifts.
