As a
Software Development Engineer in Test
you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of Ananas platforms. You will be integral part of software engineering team to drive the automation testing efforts and improve software quality.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of test scenarios, planning and organization of testing, preparation of testing environment. Automation of test scenarios (regression, smoke, e2e, integration, etc.)
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and test frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Executing automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborating with the QA Manual team to identify test requirements and defining test strategies for new features and enhancements.
  • Working closely with other team members to facilitate the integration of automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve testability, maintainability, and overall quality.
  • Educating team about test automation best practices and working as an integral part of software development team (writing and maintaining code, creating pull requests, participation in code reviews and deployment).

Essential skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation / Test Automation Engineer role or SDET
  • Proficiency in programming (Java)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as TestNG
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Git)
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter or similar)
