We are looking for an MTS-2 QA Engineer to join the Nutanix Database (NDB) team — a fast-paced, innovative group building our Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) offering. Your Role

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and customer use cases.
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure functional, integration, and regression coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python within existing frameworks.
  • Contribute to enhancing automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex scenarios when needed.
  • Debug issues, analyze logs, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve defects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and own quality for assigned features end-to-end.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA and test automation for enterprise-grade software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for writing automation scripts.
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC.

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

  • Databases (Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Storage systems or Virtualization technologies

  • Familiarity with Linux environments and basic troubleshooting skills.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment with strong collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
