We are xpate - a Riga-born fintech building smart payment and banking infrastructure to connect the fragmented payments industry.



Your role at xpate:

Be the bridge between business and tech. You'll turn complex requirements into clear technical solutions, helping us design and improve our payment systems.

Your main focus will be to:

  • Gather and analyse business requirements with stakeholders.

  • Design workflows, payment processes, and system specifications.

  • Work closely with engineers, testers, and product teams to deliver solutions.

  • Keep clear documentation of systems and integrations.

Support UAT with test cases and issue resolution.

We're ready to meet you, if…

  • You have 3+ years as a Business Systems Analyst (or similar).

  • You're experienced in requirements gathering, system design, and process optimisation in financial services.

  • You have knowledge in one of these areas:

    • Card payments & acquiring (payment gateways), or

    • Banking systems (SEPA, SWIFT, account management, regulations).

  • You are skilled in SQL, UML, BPMN, JIRA/Confluence (or similar).

  • You understand Agile/Scrum and the full SDLC.

  • You are analytical, structured, and detail-oriented.

  • You're a strong communicator and team player.

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related.

  • You have experience in FinTech (must have). Payments or banking - nice to have.
