Frontend Software Engineer

We are looking for a
Frontend Software Engineer
to join our team on the iLottery Platform. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build engaging, user-friendly interfaces that power our next-generation digital lottery solutions. You'll contribute to every phase of development – from planning and architecture to delivery – helping create secure, scalable, and innovative experiences for lottery players around the world.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with teams across Serbia, Iceland and Canada to analyze, design, and develop the backend infrastructure for iLottery gaming products
• Build and implement intuitive, reliable, and scalable user interfaces for web-based operational systems
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that supports evolving business needs and complex workflows
• Ensure a smooth user experience by focusing on performance, accessibility, and usability
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to stay aligned with team goals
• Deliver high-quality features on time, in line with the product roadmap and development milestones
• Stay up to date with modern frontend technologies and propose improvements to tooling, architecture, and development practices

Who You Are:

• You care deeply about code quality, maintainability, and design consistency, not just quick fixes

What You'll Need:

• A degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in modern front-end frameworks, preferably (React experience is also welcome, with readiness to transition to Vue).
• In-depth experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, ensuring clean, responsive designs for web applications
• Comfortable working with API integration and consuming Restful services to connect frontend with backend systems
• Skilled in using version control systems like Git for managing code and collaboration
• Strong skills in identifying and resolving issues quickly to ensure smooth functionality
• Demonstrated capability to tackle complex challenges and find efficient solutions
• Excellent knowledge of web app design methodologies and patterns, with a focus on creating intuitive and efficient user interfaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
