Position Description
The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for creating and implementing automated integration, UI, and end-to-end (E2E) test cases using Java and the Serenity BDD framework. This role also involves reviewing existing business workflows and adapting them for test automation purposes. Additionally, the Engineer is expected to integrate the developed automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and provide relevant reports.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in API/UI test automation
• Intermediate knowledge of Java programming language
• Strong knowledge of API and UI (Web) testing automation frameworks
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience in basic setups for CI/CD integrations
• Experience in working in the Agile environment and Scrum methodologies
• Ability to independently solve complex problems
• Fluency in Serbian language

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of performance testing
• Knowledge of Serenity BDD framework

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing:

• Work on the development and maintenance of automated test cases for complex digital systems that offer fully integrated workflow management, ordering and paying for goods and services within a business unit
• Apply a holistic approach to testing by leveraging various automation types - API, UI, integration, database, and performance to validate the product from multiple perspectives
• Integrate test automation results with existing test management tools
• Provide relevant yet complex test automation reports
• Closely cooperate with developers, managers, other QA team members and all other participants in the project
• Work closely with colleagues in charge of testing and quality control, and jointly find, improve and correct all possible cases of errors or suboptimal solutions
• Prepare a time estimate for the implementation of certain test cases and prioritize your own tasks in agreement with your manager
• Submit well-documented and clear periodic reports on your own performance to the management.
• Use the code distribution system (Git), in accordance with the frameworks set by the direct manager
• Work independently and in cooperation with team members to improve their own knowledge and competencies, and to introduce new technologies that promote development efficiency.
