We are looking for a
3D Unreal Engine Artist trainee
for our Navigational Simulator product. As part of this role, you will contribute to high-quality real-time visualizations of maritime simulation and collaborate with software engineers and the product team.

Position is opened in Belgrade (Serbia).

This is temporary contract for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Prototyping model & special effects in Unreal Engine 5
  • Understanding the design requirements for the visual aspects of the simulations and translating the visualization ideas into the scene with related components - including mesh quality optimizations, materials, scene & level design.
  • Working closely with the C++ developers on the team
  • Support the internal product for the prototype/special effects/level design
  • Working as a member of the product team with the backlog, production & support

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with real-time visualization techniques & game engine
  • Experience with ray-traced scene properties and optimizations in Unreal Engine.
  • Proficiency with at least one 3D modelling tool (3DsMAX, Blender, Zbrush, etc.) and one 2D graphics tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Proficiency with advanced Niagara particle systems and scripting.
  • Experience in asset workflows, materials development, lighting development, animations, and basic VFX in Unreal Engine.
  • Advanced understanding of Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine
