Friendly HR is hiring a
Senior Computer Vision Engineer
on behalf of our client — a product-focused AI team building cutting-edge computer vision models for a next-generation wearable device.

In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of projects—from ideation and data collection to model development and deployment on the device. The team functions like a high-performance product unit, where engineering decisions are driven directly by product priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, train, and evaluate deep learning models for computer vision using Python
  • Implement state-of-the-art approaches tailored to real-world use cases
  • Combine deep learning and computational geometry to ensure robust, predictable performance
  • Build tools and workflows for efficient data collection and preparation
  • Analyze and prepare training datasets
  • Work independently, with minimal oversight, aligned with product milestones

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, preferably in computer vision
  • Strong Python programming skills (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, etc.)
  • Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow)
  • Product-oriented mindset and ability to work autonomously within a cross-functional team
  • Experience building production-level systems where performance, security, and reliability are key

Bonus Experience

  • Knowledge of computational geometry (camera intrinsics/extrinsics, projective geometry, etc.)
  • Experience deploying models to low-power hardware (quantization, model compression, etc.)
