Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. We are looking for a strategic technology professional who can drive our cloud infrastructure, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and overall system reliability.

Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and automation strategies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Architect and manage containerization strategies using Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudWatch
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment processes and improve system reliability
  • Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including access management, network security, and compliance standards
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Work with other team members and contribute to the evolution of DevOps practices within the organization
Requirements

Required Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles
  • Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proven, hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (Cloud/Hosted) and containerization technologies 
  • Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development and management using GitOps approach (FluxCD).
  • Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Advanced understanding of networking, security, and system administration
  • Experience with developing and implementing cloud spending strategies
