Position summary:

Kubernetes / OpenShift DevOps Engineer will design, deliver and operate cloud-native platforms supporting our enterprise customers - companies of various verticals and sizes in the Adriatic region, as well as our colleagues from COMING Software Engineering and COMING AI. Projects are often delivered in tight cooperation with our development and infrastructure teams, as we aim to provide fullstack solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, delivery and support phases of our cloud-native projects for enterprise customers, primarily in finance, telco and public
  • Support our internal development teams from COMING Software Engineering and COMING AI (technology stack: .Net microservices, React, Elastic, Keycloak, Python, CUDA)
  • Build, automate and manage our OpenShift-based AI platform
  • Pursue continuous learning and occasional certification related to the technologies used in daily work

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, preferably in a consulting services organization or a medium/large enterprise
  • Experience with designing, implementing and operating production Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift environments
  • Experience with at least one scripting tool or programming language (e.g. bash, Python)
  • Experience with Git and at least one CI/CD tool (preferably Azure DevOps or GitLab)
  • Experience with Linux Server administration
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and application delivery fundamentals
  • Knowledge of information security best practices in cloud-native environments
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
  • Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools (e.g. ArgoCD / OpenShift GitOps, Flux)
  • Previous experience with operating any of the following: Rancher, k3s, Harbor, VMware Tanzu
  • Previous experience with observability and application monitoring solutions
  • Kubernetes and OpenShift certifications (e.g. CKA, Certified OpenShift Administrator)
