Your Role and Impact

HYPR is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test with a desire to help make our customer experience great.  Your role will be working closely with our development team on building out high quality integrations.  Your expertise in designing and implementing best practices and tooling for testing (including unit, functional, integration, system, and regression using both manual and automated processes) will be key to the success of the team. 

What You will Do

• You will be responsible for manual and automated testing.
• You will be testing mobile and desktop applications
• You will break up complex features into clear automatable tests. 
• You build testing solutions that scale and perform. 
• You will work closely with the development team and QA to share knowledge and  improve our quality practices.
• You will learn new systems and integrations quickly and be able to communicate the challenges and advantages clearly.
• You will have an active hand in guiding the work your team takes on.
• You will participate in the full development life cycle adding your insights to requirements, designs, code reviews, etc.
• Drive best practices in efficient use of simulation, automation, and manual test techniques to provide highest business value.

What You have Done

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study (master's preferred)
• 8+ years of automation experience 
• Experience in test design, developing automation frameworks and testing. 
• Experience evaluating and using common testing frameworks
• Experience working with mobile applications
• Experience working on SaaS platforms or in Continuous Delivery models
• Experience with Git-Flow and tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, JIRA, etc.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of how to test complex distributed systems
• Experience testing windows and mac desktop applications
• Experience testing with virtual machines 
• Good working knowledge of Cross Browser and Cross Device testing

• Full Time Opportunity: Yes
• The core meeting hours for this position are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Attendance is required for meetings scheduled between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. These meetings may be attended remotely via Zoom. Outside of these scheduled meetings, working hours are flexible. 
• This position is a hybrid role. Employees are required to work in the office a minimum of two days per week—specifically Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The remaining workdays offer flexible remote options.
