About the Role

We are seeking experienced Design Verification Engineers to join our growing team. This is a rare opportunity to participate in world-class VLSI development of RISC-V based processors. With multiple openings available, we are looking for individuals with strong backgrounds in design verification. You will have the chance to work on various aspects and stages of CPU verification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate CPU IP functionality.
  • Architect and develop advanced test environments, utilizing SystemVerilog, UVM, Python.
  • Develop CPU performance verification metrics and tests.
  • Create and maintain automated testing scripts for efficient regression analysis
  • Define and develop golden reference models to establish functional requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze regression run results to identify and address issues proactively
  • Take ownership of test results within your designated scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, design, system verification) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Stay informed about the latest RISC-V developments and actively participate in the community.

Qualifications

  • Advanced-level knowledge of UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
  • 3+ years of hands-on RTL verification experience.
  • Good understanding of modern CPU architectures.
  • Proficiency in RTL simulators (any vendor)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting.
  • Proficient in Git or other version control systems.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English for technical communication.

Bonus qualifications

  • Deep understanding of areas of computer architecture such as:
  • Processor pipeline
  • Vector Processing Unit (VPU)
  • Tensor Unit
  • Out-of-order execution
  • Cache and memory subsystem hierarchy
  • Network-on-Chip (NoC)
  • Experience or familiarity with verification methodologies and frameworks like:
  • CocoTB
  • Formal Verification
  • FPGA simulations
