At Merkle DACH, due to growing demand we are maturing our Client Advisory & Enterprise Architecture services as part of a newly formed and growing tech team.

Currently we are looking for an experienced
Product Information Management (PIM) Solution Architect
to lead large-scale IT architecture transformations for our manufacturing clients (e.g. machinery, electronics, fabrication). You will shape holistic technology design, modernize legacy landscapes, and ensure solutions align with business goals. As a Leader, you will guide teams and stakeholders through complex IT transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end PIM implementations: Architect and oversee comprehensive PIM solutions for clients in the manufacturing sector (engineering, electronics, etc.), from initial concept through successful deployment.
• Drive innovation and change: Play a pivotal role in a mission-driven company that values leadership, mentorship, and innovation, delivering high-performance, scalable architectures across various domains and helping shape our technical roadmap.
• Mentor and collaborate: Guide cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, stakeholders), foster best practices in solution design and data management, and coach the next generation of technical leaders.
• Hybrid & International Team: Work in a hybrid environment (from Germany, Serbia, or Poland) and collaborate with a diverse, international team to solve complex challenges.
• Translate complex business and technical needs into scalable, high-performing architectures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years as a PIM Solution Architect, with a proven track record of leading at least two end-to-end PIM implementation projects, ideally with Syndigo, Inriver, Informatica or Salsify.
• PIM Expertise: Hands-on experience with PIM platforms – must have worked with Syndigo and Inriver. Deep expertise in design, integration, and optimization for PIM platforms.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience working with clients in the manufacturing sector (e.g., engineering, electronics), with an understanding of industry-specific product data challenges.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, excellent communication skills, and a drive to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Language & Location: Fluent in English (German is a plus); willing to work in a hybrid model based in Germany, Serbia, or Poland.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.) and modern IT architectures (cloud, APIs, microservices).
