Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgrade for a Compliance and Reporting Officer. The role involves:

  • Prepare of regular and extraordinary reports for the Donors regarding the progress of the programs;
  • Ensure continual monitoring and review of procedures to help identify possible areas where improvements could be made
  • Assist in the preparation of internal procedures and policies
  • Ensure that the foundation complies with the internal policies and procedures in place, as well as its outside legal requirements
  • Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws and regulations
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues and report to the Risk Manager on these issues
  • Ensure that the findings are recorded and followed up with the management so that issues can be rectified
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly risk management reports for the Risk Committee
  • Assist the external financial auditor providing the requested documentation for the review and the end of the year audit

Qualifications

  • Understanding of compliance and reporting standards
  • Data analysis, reporting, and document drafting skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills in Serbian and English
  • Experience with audit coordination or familiarity with auditing processes is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial sector (banks or leasing )
