Besides the USA and Asia, Playstudios Europe opened its doors in Belgrade in 2021.We are a dynamic and young-minded environment, blooming with talented developers, creatives, quality assurance professionals, and other leaders working together to change the face of social gamingDuties and Responsibilities:Own the Technical Vision & Execution – Drive the technical strategy and execution for all games in the domain, balancing speed of delivery with stability and quality.Lead Cross-Disciplinary Teams – Manage and mentor team leads across Client, QA, Game Design, and Tech Art, promoting collaboration and accountability.Ensure Technical Excellence – Establish and enforce development best practices, scalable architecture, and effective testing strategies to support rapid release cycles.Solve for the Present and the Future – Provide innovative and maintainable solutions for legacy systems, while laying foundations for future game development.Collaborate with Studio Leadership – Work closely with product managers, creative leads, and other technical directors to align on feature scope, priorities, and timelines.Improve Processes & Pipelines – Continuously optimize build, QA, content integration, and release pipelines to enable high throughput without compromising quality.Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.Solid experience in the mobile gaming industry, with a track record of contributing to and shipping high-quality games.Hands-on development background in client (Unity or similar) and/or backend systems — ideally across the full feature lifecycle.Experience managing or mentoring engineers and cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of scalable architecture, technical pipelines, and release processes in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with high proficiency in English (written and verbal).Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and drive clarity where needed.Optional / Nice-to-HaveExperience with slot machine or content-rich games.Familiarity with feature configuration systems, live ops tooling, and BI/logging pipelines.Demonstrated ability to mentor leads or build high-performing engineering teams.Please send your CV in English.About PLAYSTUDIOSPLAYSTUDIOS is the developer and operator of award-winning free-to-play casual games for mobile and social platforms.
