With over 75 years at the frontier of economic growth and transformation across Africa, we deliver critical raw materials and expertise to the continent's high GDP-contributing life sciences and industrials sectors.What are we looking for?We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Infrastructure to lead the global infrastructure of SOLEVO based in Belgrade, Serbia.What do we expect from the candidate?The candidate will lead the infrastructure (on premises and cloud) of the SOLEVO group in all technical and managerial aspects.The Key ResponsibilitiesEmpower the IT infrastructure team of currently 14 FTEs by selecting, managing and training themLead infrastructure projects especially the integration of new companies in our global domainManage all infrastructure vendors including license negotiations from the selection to the invoicingOrganize the IT infrastructure service & support of SOLEVO group for approximately 1000 usersPlan, design and maintainSOLEVO group's IT infrastructure on premisesManage SOLEVO's cloud infrastructureAutomatize IT maintenance tasks to create an efficient and lean infrastructure organizationSupport the IT director in creating the IT budget concerning infrastructureResponsible for attaining the approved budget goals for all group entitiesTake full responsibility for the IT security from Predicts, Prevent, Detect to Respond/RecoverConstantly monitors latest security developments and provides recommendationsSkills And Qualifications (Must Have)Working in a management or team lead position in an infrastructure team (>5 years)IT Engineer experience (10 years) in systems and infrastructureDeep understanding of on-prem hardware: servers, firewalls, routers, switches, enterprise networking for design, installation, deployment and maintenanceProficient with Azure IaaS & PaaS: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall (5 years)Experience managing hybrid cloud environments: Azure Arc, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute together with Azure AD and Identity governanceKnowledge of network security, firewall policies, Zero Trust architectureFamiliarity with support and ticketing systems, incident tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.Experience with automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Azure Automation, PowerShell, BashAbility to produce and enforce policies and provide technical documentation for audits.Excellent communication skills in fluent English for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.Skills And Qualifications (Nice To Have)French Language is considered a huge bonusHaving led migration projects or implementation is appreciatedKnowledge and experience with major hyperscalers like preferably Azure, AWS, GCPHaving experience with licensing, vendor management and budgeting processesDesired CertificatesBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure SolutionsSC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity ArchitectTOGAFCertifications in process management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) are highly beneficial.Soft SkillsDemonstrated ability to tackle complex problems effectively and adapt to fast-paced growing environments.Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior engineers to let the them grow on a personal and qualification levelProven track record of working effectively in remote team settings, demonstrating flexibility, and contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.Organizational skills providing efficient and monitored processesWhy join Solevo?Join a dynamic organization passionate about supporting users.Enjoy a collaborative, international and agile work environment.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and cloud platforms.Competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits package.Explore opportunities for professional growth and advancement.How to join us?If you're excited about shaping the IT infrastructure of a global company and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to submit your resume detailing your relevant experience.What's next?If your profile matches our requirements, you will be contacted by our HR team for an initial conversation.
