About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and versatile
Website & SEO Specialist
to join our team at
Apricot Jam
and work directly with a U.S. client on a large-scale web design and digital growth project.

You'll be the driving force behind creating, optimizing, and maintaining a modern, high-performing website, from concept and design to technical setup, SEO, analytics, and ongoing content updates.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the
    design and development
    of a new business website (or redesign of an existing one), built on a modern CMS.
  • Develop up to 10 web pages with
    mobile-first, responsive design
    and clean, SEO-friendly structure.
  • Set up and integrate a
    blog section
    with reusable templates.
  • Handle
    initial SEO implementation
    , including indexing, meta data, site architecture, structured data, and local search setup (Google Business Profile, Bing Places).
  • Configure
    Google Analytics 4
    ,
    Google Tag Manager
    , and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the client to define and execute
    content marketing strategy
    , including keyword research and on-page SEO.
  • Coordinate with copywriters and internal teams on
    blog posts and website updates
    .
  • Manage ongoing
    maintenance and security updates
    for the website.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in site performance and search rankings.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in
    web design and development
    (WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS).
  • Strong understanding of
    SEO principles
    ,
    site architecture
    , and
    structured data
    .
  • Experience setting up and working with
    GA4
    ,
    GTM
    , and reporting dashboards (e.g. Looker Studio).
  • Solid understanding of
    UX/UI design
    and responsive layouts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform ongoing maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable collaborating with international clients and presenting ideas clearly.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with
    local SEO

  • Basic copywriting or content management experience.
  • Knowledge of schema markup and rich snippet optimization.
