Meter&Control
is the leading domestic company with a long background in smart metering technology. The company stems from an early research of PLC technology conducted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade in 1980's by a team of engineers who devised one of the world's first PLC modems, thus becoming pioneers in Automatic Meter Reading technology. Today, we are the fifth company in the world (and the first in Serbia) to receive the IDIS certificate, the leading industry certificate for interoperability. Our devices and software are in use in the EU, Switzerland, the Middle East, and South America. Thanks to the MID-B and MID-D certificates, our AMI devices have the status as if they were manufactured in the EU.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test specifications based on requirements and design documents
- Create test projects for the Device Under Test (DUT) in C
- Develop automated test scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Execute test cases using a test automation environment and analyze results
- Enhance and extend testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Set up and maintain test automation infrastructure (including CI/CD integration)
- Contribute to the quality and clarity of requirement specifications
- Drive continuous improvement of test efficiency, cost, and coverage
It would be great if you bring:
- 2+ years of experience in software development, embedded software engineering or testing
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields
- Knowledge of programming: C, Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Experience in automated testing of embedded systems is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of MCU architecture and operation
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure (advantage)
- Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing (advantage)
- Knowledge of functional safety for embedded systems (advantage)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Systematic, responsible, and persistent in completing tasks
- Enjoys working in a team
