About position

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team. In this role, you will be end-responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure, tooling, and processes that enable fast, reliable, and secure delivery of our software. You will work closely with engineering, product, and application operations teams to ensure our platform is scalable, observable, and resilient. • Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support a fast-paced development environment
• Operate and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using infrastructure-as-code
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to build observability into applications and improve deployment processes
• Manage secrets, credentials, and access permissions across environments
• Establish and enforce operational best practices and deployment guidelines
• Contribute to incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Support disaster recovery planning, backups, and system hardening
• Continuously assess and work on ways to improve system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency

What You Bring

• Degree (FH, BSc, MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform services (preferably AWS)
• Experience designing and operating automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD) at production scale
• Working knowledge of containerization, orchestration and deployment patterns for microservice architectures
• Familiarity with advanced deployment strategies (e.g., blue-green or canary deployments) to minimize downtime and risk
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals with experience in performance tuning and cost-optimization at scale
• Hands-on experience with monitoring & alarming, observability, and incident troubleshooting practices
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product and operations teams to improve reliability and scalability
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Additional plus:

• Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with serverless architectures, containerization and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with monitoring and log management frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Applied security practices in DevOps (identity & access, secrets management, vulnerability scanning)
• Knowledge of incident management, on-call practices, and operating in regulated or high-availability environments
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
