. We're building on a modern technology stack with Java, following best practices, and striving to build/measure/learn at a high cadence. Here's your chance to join a great product team that collaborates with designers, product managers, researchers, QA, and engineers from other fields.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ship valuable product increments
• Write high-quality code and tests within established development standards and patterns, following industry best practices
• Contribute to design decisions and technical discussions as part of the engineering team
• Own the production operation and monitoring of the systems
• Make a positive impact towards a healthy and maintainable platform every day
• Proactively support and mentor other team members and help them accelerate their career-growth

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Fluent in English for both written and spoken communication
• Proven ability to proactively identify, analyze, and drive solutions for complex technical and product problems, navigating ambiguity and breaking them down into actionable steps
• At least 6 years of experience developing Backend systems in Java
• At least 4 years of experience with Spring Boot
• Solid grounding in Computer Science: data structures, algorithms, mathematics.
• Fluency with automated testing (unit, integration tests) and CI/CD
• Strong working knowledge of distributed systems and messaging solutions
• Experience with Cloud Services, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Eagerness to learn and understand the business vision, strategy, and priorities

Nice to have:

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Kubernetes and containers
• Kafka
• Elasticsearch
