Product Designer

United Cloud creates products and experiences that are used and loved by millions. We are seeking a Product Designer with a passion for finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our products.   

The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of the users. You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.  Design the next generation of digital entertainment experiences — seamless, accessible, and visually compelling for millions of users across the web.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Translating concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite platform complexity.  
• Brainstorming product designs with around 20 creatives in a multidisciplinary design team.  
• Working with a product team to visualize and evangelize new product ideas.  
• Working closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.  
• Ensuring visual and functional consistency between multiple related products bound by the same design system.  
• Effectively collaborating with developers and product managers to craft technically feasible solutions that meet the needs of our users.  
• Working together with the UX research team to gain actionable insights that lead to design improvements.  
• Designing intuitive and responsive interfaces for media experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile 
• Team up with a technical copywriter to explain complex tasks in simple terms.  

What we're  looking for:  

• At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with mobile-based products 
• Extensive knowledge of design tools (Figma experience is preferred)  
• Basic knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Principle)  
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.  
• Previous experience developing and maintaining design systems 
• Skilled at balancing user needs, technical constraints, and design clarity to deliver accessible and performant web experiences 
• Passionate and enthusiastic about excellence and attention to detail, typography, color and composition.  
• Ability to communicate in a clear, consistent, and transparent manner in a team environment.  
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
