The project and your role We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Manual QA Analyst to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality of educational websites, eCommerce websites, and similar web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of a complex B2B eCommerce web application.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios.
  • Create and maintain detailed, well-structured test cases.
  • Log and track defects in collaboration with developers and analysts.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Estimate testing tasks and contribute to overall sprint planning.
  • Review test results and ensure high product quality before releases.
  • Participate in product demos and reviews with the customer.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Your skills
  • Proven experience in QA or web application testing roles (3+ years)
  • Strong proficiency with tools and concepts like Postman, REST, JSON/XML, Swagger, and HTTP methods
  • Strong SQL skills (JOINs, filters). Basic NoSQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, responsive design checks, usability reviews, and using browser Developer Tools
  • Ability to create comprehensive test cases, checklists, bug reports, and test plans (familiarity with tools like TestRail, Zephyr is beneficial)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Confluence
  • Basic understanding of Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, and Docker.
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or YouTrack
  • Exposure to automation tools and languages like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, Python, or JavaScript.
