Operations Supervisor

Summary
: As an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in shaping our daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring high quality service across all process levels. You'll manage and inspire a talented team, streamline processes, and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.

Overview of key responsibilities:

• Organize and manage daily activities for all assigned teams, especially those involved in documentation and freight bill audit tasks
• Oversee and be responsible for the overall performance of your teams—ensuring everyone meets and exceeds their goals
• Ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery, proactively escalating to customers if delays arise
• Optimize cost and value by managing logistics service providers (LSPs) and maintaining strong vendor engagement
• Define, improve, control, and measure KPIs to keep service quality high and processes efficient
• Guarantee continuous process flow and top-tier service across all levels and for all teams
• Collect and analyze operational data related to customers, vendors, buyers, and LSP performance, using insights to drive improvements
• Coordinate and control corrective operational action plans, ensuring business control and compliance with company and client policies
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with all teams, aligning them with company/client requirements and standards
• Be the escalation point for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and collaboratively
• Prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports on operational activities, results, and improvement actions for internal and external stakeholders
• Regularly communicate with clients, vendors, and service providers to address all operational issues and build strong, lasting relationships
• Perform regular audits of operations activities, evaluating processes and compliance to drive business excellence
• Prepare project updates, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
• Play an active role in recruiting and onboarding new team members, helping to build and mentor a high-performing team

Position requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Transport & Traffic Engineering, Economics, Organizational Science
• 5+ years of experience in logistics/transportation operations
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management
• Proven leader with the ability to motivate, delegate, and drive results
• Passion for mentoring and developing diverse teams
• Excellent analytical, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
