Now, we're searching for a star Lawyer to join our mission.

About the role

We're looking for a part-time Lawyer in Belgrade to support GetBlock with legal matters in Serbia. This is a flexible role (up to 10 hours/month) where you'll handle labor, tax, and visa-related issues, review contracts, and represent the company with local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal support for company operations in Serbia, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Advise on labor, tax, and migration law issues relevant to the company's activities.
• Draft, review, and support contracts, including Service Agreements and B2B contracts.
• Support with tax-related matters, including employee taxation and issues of double taxation.
• Prepare documentation for work visas and residence permits for foreign employees.
• Represent the company's interests before government authorities, banks, and migration services.
• Manage legal correspondence and respond promptly to inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with the accounting department on compliance and reporting issues.
• Receive and manage official correspondence at a registered office in Belgrade.

Requirements

• Proven experience in providing legal support for companies, preferably with B2B and international activities.
• In-depth knowledge of Serbian legislation, specifically in labor law, tax law, and regulations on employment and visa support for foreign citizens.
• Valid attorney license in Serbia (highly desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in: employee tax compliance, double taxation matters, visa and residence permit documentation, representation before government bodies and institutions, drafting/reviewing contracts
• Fluency in Serbian and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to process legal requests promptly.
• Experience working with accounting departments.
• Availability to provide services up to 10 hours per month.
• Physical presence in Belgrade with an office to receive correspondence.
