This is the role that is part of Tenderly Core, the team building the foundations that power all of our products. From low-level Virtual Machines to network orchestration, data pipelines, and reliable blockchain data storage, the scope is wide, challenging, and impactful.

We're looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join us and work closely with the team on the core of our product, helping shape, scale, and maintain the backbone of the Tenderly platform.

Working on Tenderly Core means designing modular systems and abstractions that keep our platform future-proof while pushing forward new blockchain standards and protocols that unify different stacks and networks. You'll tackle some of the toughest technical challenges in the ecosystem and have a direct impact on how the whole platform evolves.

This role comes with many technical challenges. You'll face complex problems where solutions aren't always clear, and you'll be expected to own these problems from end to end. Digging deep to uncover the right information, bringing clarity to uncertainty, and navigating technical complexity with ease are at the heart of this role. Along the way, your proactive ideas and improvements will help strengthen Tenderly's foundation for future growth and innovation.

• Build and optimize high-performance backend systems in Rust, occasionally touching Go when needed.

• Leverage your deep understanding of blockchain to improve and scale our infrastructure.

• Architect and operate robust distributed systems using Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP.

• Solve complex challenges in distributed computing, data processing, and system integration.

• Bring structure to yet uncertain areas, establish reliable practices, and help build the long-term foundation of the core team.

• Collaborate closely with other engineers, sharing knowledge and driving projects forward with independence and ownership.

• Stay curious and proactive, exploring new technologies and approaches to keep Tenderly ahead of the curve.

• You're highly skilled in Rust and experienced with production-level backend development.

• You have a strong background in blockchain, with hands-on knowledge of EVM or similar Virtual Machines and a genuine passion for the ecosystem.

• You thrive in fast-paced environments where not everything is defined yet, and you're excited by the challenge of bringing order to complexity.

• You're a problem-solver who can independently navigate uncertainty while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

• You bring experience from startups and/or large-scale engineering environments and know how to balance speed with solid practices.
