Project:
 A distributed video-surveillance platform for edge devices (Nexus Edge). Central controller + edge workers, camera/storage management, RTSP→HLS, S3, event-driven architecture (NATS JetStream). Deployed in multiple countries (Smart City).

What you'll do

● Build backend services in 
Rust
 (controller and edge workers).

● Design and implement 
REST APIs
 (poem + poem-openapi / OpenAPI specs).

● Work with 
PostgreSQL
 (sqlx, migrations, query tuning), integrate 
PostGIS / TimescaleDB
.

● Develop and harden video pipelines: 
RTSP → HLS
, segmentation, S3/MinIO storage.

● Implement async, event-driven flows with 
NATS JetStream
 (streams, consumers, retry/DLQ).

● Strengthen security: 
JWT (ES256)
, 
Argon2
, CORS, RBAC.

● Improve observability: metrics/tracing (
tracing
, Prometheus/Grafana), logging, profiling.

● Contribute to architecture (idempotency, consistency, fault tolerance, backpressure).

● Collaborate closely with Frontend and DevOps (docker-compose, CI/CD).

Requirements (must-have)

2+ years
 of commercial 
Rust
 experience (
Middle+

 (queries, migrations, indexes, performance).

● Hands-on 
Docker
 and basic Linux skills.

● Ability to read/write

● Experience debugging distributed systems (timeouts, retries, idempotency).
