Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI interactive reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and manage data models by connecting to various data sources, importing, transforming, and aggregating data while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Create and optimize Power BI data models (star/snowflake schema) for performance and scalability, utilizing best practices for data modeling and DAX calculations.
• Develop and implement data visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, dataflows, and deployment pipeline, ensuring that the Power BI environment is well-organized, efficient, and capable of supporting business intelligence operations.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Monitor Power BI performance metrics and implement optimizations such as indexing, query tuning, and data aggregation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI service issues, including data refreshes and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Power BI Development, DAX, Power Query (M Language).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Understanding of data governance, security roles, and row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
