HR & Internal Communications SpecialistWe are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented HR & Internal Communications Specialist to join our People Operations team. In this dual-focused role, you will be essential in ensuring our Serbian operations are fully compliant with local labour law while simultaneously driving an engaging and informative company culture through impactful communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire onboarding and offboarding process for all employees based in Serbia, ensuring a positive first and last impression
• Manage and process all employee changes and requests in compliance with Serbian labour law, coordinating documentation with relevant local authorities
• Process payroll accurately and timely for Serbian staff, coordinating closely with finance and external accounting partners
• Manage and maintain accurate, secure, and confidential HR records and personnel files
• Act as a reliable point of contact to provide a seamless and supportive employee experience for all HR-related inquiries

• Draft and publish internal announcements, updates, and newsletters
• Coordinate Team & Company wide meetings (collect topics, prep speakers, manage logistics)
• Help implement and experiment with new formats for async updates, videos, or written comms
• Continuously improve the experience and engagement of internal communication across the company

• Maintain and update internal guides, HR policies, onboarding docs, and FAQs
• Help build and evolve our internal knowledge base (Notion)
• Support onboarding by ensuring docs and workflows are up-to-date

• Help with light project management and follow-ups on HR-related initiatives
• Coordinate small team events or celebrations

• 1 year of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Administration, preferably in a fast-growing or international environment

• Strong hands-on experience with HR administration and compliance, ideally including Serbian labour law, payroll processes, and employee documentation

• Experience managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes with a high attention to detail and employee experience

• Experience coordinating payroll and working closely with finance teams and external accounting or payroll providers

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and processes simultaneously

• Experience maintaining internal knowledge bases, policies, and documentation (e.g., Notion, Confluence, or similar tools)

• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and follow through on initiatives

• Basic project management skills and experience supporting small HR or people-related projects

• Fluency in English and Serbian is required
