We're in search of a proactive, motivated, and team-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Serbia.

Your mission:

Think of the Business Analyst (BA) as the essential link between our newest, high-profile clients and our talented development team.

Your mission is simple but crucial: to deeply understand the client's complex business problems, translate those needs into crystal-clear technical instructions, and ensure we deliver cutting-edge software solutions that provide genuine, measurable value.

This role is specifically focused on a high-impact, technically challenging software project in the dynamic and rewarding world of asset management and investment banking. You'll be helping us deliver the next generation of financial technology.

What you'll be doing:

As our BA, you'll be the master of clarity and collaboration, driving the project forward through clear communication and documentation:

• Deep Discovery: Dive deep with key stakeholders to gather, structure, and document their needs, from detailed Process and Data Flow Diagrams to Stakeholder Maps and Impact Analyses, ensuring everything is captured in a format our technical team can easily execute.
• Translating Needs: transform those big-picture requirements into crisp User Stories with clear, testable Acceptance Criteria and supporting documentation such as Process Flows and Impact Assessments.
• Agile Engagement:  Be an active, engaged participant in all Scrum ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups), bringing structure and clarity to discussions through visual aids and refined backlog items.
• Backlog Ownership: Partner closely with the Product Owner and our Champion to maintain well-structured Backlog Refinement Notes and a Prioritized Backlog that's always ready for development.
• Master of Alignment: Ensure everyone, from business sponsors and UX/UI designers to developers and QA, stays aligned around a shared understanding of user needs and process impacts.
• Quality Assurance Support: Support the team through implementation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and delivery quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively spot risks, manage dependencies, and look for smart ways to improve both process documentation and delivery efficiency.
  
  

What you'll need to bring:

This is a specialized role, and we're looking for someone who can step in with confidence:

• Financial Domain Know-How (Crucial): You must have a solid understanding of the financial industry, specifically asset and/or investment management. We're talking comfort with core concepts like equities, bonds, indices, ETFs, and benchmarks.
• High Degree of Autonomy: We're looking for someone who can independently and proactively drive things forward and deal with ambiguous scenarios, without requiring heavy supervision.
• Analytical Prowess: You think logically and can structure ambiguity into clear steps.
• Simplifier and Translator: The ability to take complex technical or business concepts and explain them simply and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Agile Expertise: You're comfortable and hands-on with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Tech Literacy: A foundational grasp of technical concepts (e.g., how APIs work, basic data models, and system integrations).
• Communication & Facilitation: Excellent skills in running effective stakeholder meetings and guiding teams toward consensus.
• Focus on Value: You have a value-driven mindset, always looking to deliver meaningful outcomes and impact early and often.
• Sharp Attention to Detail: Your documentation is precise, thorough, and leaves no room for guesswork.
