Quality Assurance Analyst (Financial products)

TeleTrader d.o.o. is part of baha Group, a software company specialized in stock market data and financial analysis, offering a broad portfolio of tools for the processing, visualization and analysis of stock market data. As a global company, active on the international market and headquartered in Vienna, Austria, TeleTrader develops its software in Belgrade, while selling its products globally across Europe, North America, and Asia.

TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its QA department: 

Quality Assurance Analyst (Financial products)

About QA Team:

QA team is engaged in manual testing of applications developed at TeleTrader. Team members work closely with developers to produce and deliver reliable applications.

Main Tasks: 

  • Evaluate and test new or modified software solutions within the TeleTrader product portfolio
  • Perform functional, regression, and acceptance testing of releases before moving new versions into production
  • Identify, report, track, and verify issues in the issue tracking software used by the development team
  • Investigate problems reported by internal and external users, recommend solutions, and collaborate with developers to fix the issue
  • Support developers with product advancement throughout the release cycle

Requirements: 

  • Educated and experienced in one of the following areas: Economics, Business and Finance, or 1+ year of experience in financial software testing
  • Solid understanding of the financial markets (participants, processes, technologies, financial instruments)
  • Fluent written and spoken English (proficiency in German will be considered an additional asset)
  • Very strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn to operate unfamiliar software or technology
  • Good understanding of quality assurance as a part of the software development process
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
  • Candidates with automation testing experience will be given priority
  • Experience with crypto is a plus
