Protech is a team of experienced engineers working on cutting-edge projects in the fields of applied Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

We are looking for a versatile and skilled AI engineer with expertise across computer vision
and/or

large language models to join our team. You will participate in research, design, and development of new algorithms, models, and solutions that bridge visual, language, and other data for real-world problems. In your work, you will use state-of-the-art technologies and collaborate with experienced researchers and scientists in the region and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the R&D team, you will work on researching and implementing multimodal AI solutions for current and future clients
  • Support the whole development process ranging from initial analysis, architecture design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of CV
    and/or
    LLM solutions
  • Systematically test your models' performance and optimize their robustness, accuracy, and creative capabilities under real-world conditions
  • Work closely with the software development team on integrating the latest R&D results into the product codebase
  • Optimize your solutions for execution on different platforms and prepare them for transitioning into reliable products
  • Together with the product manager, you will be responsible for creating correct project estimates regarding time and effort

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in AI software development
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Hands-on experience in developing and benchmarking AI algorithms across modalities
  • Knowledge of CV frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow)
    and/or
    NLP/LLM frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, Sentence Transformers)
  • Familiarity with computer vision architectures (MobileNet, ResNet, YOLO)
    and/or
    transformer architectures (BERT, GPT, LLaMA)

Advantages

  • Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and alignment techniques, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and agent frameworks
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
  • Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, distillation, pruning)
  • Experience in C++
  • Experience with TensorRT/CUDA/CuDNN for efficient inference
  • Experience in 3D Vision, SLAM, or related technologies
  • Experience with generative AI and related models (Stable Diffusion, GANs, VAEs)
  • Solid understanding of generative AI concepts including prompting strategies, controllable generation, and synthetic data creation
  • Experience with multimodal models like CLIP, DALL-E, Midjourney, or Vision Transformers
  • Experience in orchestrating multiple generative models in production systems

Profile

  • University degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field, or comparable work experience
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Proven track record of delivering AI solutions
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Independent thinker with ability to work across multiple AI domains
