Project Manager - Electrical and Control Systems

Bechtel is a global leader in engineering, construction, and project management services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Electrical and Control Systems team on a major project in Serbia.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of professionals and oversee the delivery of a complex project. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    • Establish and maintain a clear project vision and objectives
    • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to deliver the project
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Project Planning and Control
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
    • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards
  • Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement quality and safety plans
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Contract Management
    • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
    • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
    • Manage contract variations and changes
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, project management)
    • 15+ years of relevant experience in project management, electrical and control systems
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Extensive knowledge of modern methods and techniques in electrical and control systems
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
