About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled Oracle Database Specialist to join our Post Trade Service (PTS) group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases to support our clients' post-trade derivatives processing needs. Your expertise will help us deliver world-class products that drive business growth and innovation in the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Oracle databases to ensure high performance, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor database performance and optimize database configuration, indexing, and query tuning to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient database solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in the development of backup and restore processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database 19c, including database design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in optimizing complex queries, indexing, and database performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for backup and recovery.
- Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters and Exadata setups.
- Understanding of database security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Proficiency in shell scripting, Docker, and Linux.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and cloud database solutions such as Oracle Cloud, Amazon RDS for Oracle, and MS Azure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Java knowledge and experience with report generation.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and containerization.
