Joining Global Risk and Assurance Services Corporate Audit (CA) as a team member, will present you with a wealth of new challenges and new opportunities. Our audit engagements make SAP run smarter. We work for all Board areas and subsidiaries, and conduct process and compliance audits, evaluate new audit topics, gain in-depth knowledge on evolving themes, identify gaps for improvement, and are trusted advisors to the business. To do this, we rely on the diversity and expertise of our highly qualified audit teams. Constant exchange with colleagues outside CA and our willingness to learn are key to achieving our ambitious goals.
Global Risk and Assurance Services CA is a staff department reporting directly to the CFO and the Supervisory Board’s Audit Committee. We are one of the integral elements of the corporate governance and compliance framework and are a business advisor to our various stakeholders. We ensure that the company’s financial statements are reliable, its internal controls and compliance programs are effective, and we identify business risks. To achieve these goals, we work closely with the Board, the various corporate departments, and regional and local management. Our reports are presented to these stakeholders, which makes our work highly visible.
The demand for an Enterprise Software Provider to run at its optimum capability in effective, efficient, secure and compliant manner is now an essential requirement for SAP’s internal and external cloud business. Global Risk and Assurance Corporate Audit now seeks candidates with the knowledge, qualification and certification to plan, implement and define action items based on a comprehensive technology and security audits of SAP’s environments portfolio.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Perform and lead SAP IT System, Solution, Process, Architecture, Security and Data Audits.
- Describe existing scenarios and processes, evaluate the current and required future state process by collecting data points via interviews, documentation or system information.
- Describe the to-be or expected compliant situation or process, document the delta between the existing and to-be compliant process and describe the results of any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, working in global, interdisciplinary and cross cultural groups.
- Report on, discuss and represent findings and recommendations with SAP senior management.
- Manage full audit scope, timelines, required resources and budget.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Candidate Skills Should Include:
- A solid understanding of physical and facility security standards
- Experience with data center operations and security controls
- A broad knowledge of IT system architecture concepts and data center infrastructure (soft and hardware components)
- Experience with cloud computing environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
- Experience with SOC or ISO certification audit cycles
- Experience in SAP business application management, system and solution architecture skills paired with project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical skills

- Expert presentation skills: the ability to confidently present technical findings with business impact to SAP senior management
- Expert communication skills: the ability to fluently understand, communicate and articulate full range of audit related topics (oral and writing – English/German)
- Audit or security-related certifications preferred (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM)
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3+ years of IT Systems Operations Management, Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure Management, Business Application Management, Project Management or Internal / Certification Audit (ISO/SOC/PCI/NIST) experience
