Job Overview

The Medical Safety Specialist is a key member of our Pharmacovigilance team, responsible for ensuring the safety of patients by reviewing and analyzing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and literature. This role requires strong medical knowledge and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze ICSR reports to assess their medical validity and determine appropriate company comment
  • Conduct literature reviews to identify relevant studies and articles related to medicinal products
  • Support the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance in the medical understanding and evaluation of any safety issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety strategies
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Medical degree with demonstrated experience in Pharmacovigilance and working in a clinical setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
