Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement external partnerships that drive positive change for children.

  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans with faith actors and coalitions to amplify our impact.

Key Responsibilities:External Partnerships (30%):

  • Work closely with Faith & Development teams to create engaging experiences with key partners and coalitions.

  • Support capacity building and resource development for World Vision staff in relation to faith-based partnerships.

  • Communicate opportunities and progress to relevant stakeholders within World Vision.

Project Management (50%):

  • Collaborate with business owners to ensure successful partnership execution, aligning internal and external efforts.

  • Coordinate and maintain project management tools and documents, ensuring clarity and transparency.

Capacity Building (20%):

  • Partner with Local to Global teams to enhance capacity and standards for engaging faith partners, new influencing spaces, global coalitions, and emerging partnerships across World Vision.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, International Development, International Law, Political Science, Economics or related field.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and OneDrive.

  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Zoom, and Google Suite.

  • At least 5 years' experience in relationship management and partnering, including with faith-based organizations and coalitions or/and Churches.

  • Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration.

  • Excellent presentation, synthesis, and writing skills.

  • Problem-solving skills with diplomacy, cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible world view, and emotional maturity.

  • Experience with capacity building and development of tools and resources.

  • Knowledge of child rights and sustainable development issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding written and oral English communication skills.

  • Experience working in INGOs and/or the Church.

  • Working experience in Christian organizations.

  • Global organization experience.

  • Virtual team experience.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Project Management Certification.

Travel Expectations:

  • Up to 30% international travel.

  • Fluency in other languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin would be an advantage.
