Regional Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Chief Accountant to lead our accounting operations across Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and North Macedonia.

  • Responsibilities include supervising the full bookkeeping of the branches/entities in the region, providing technical accounting advice, coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual closing, managing ongoing reconciliations, preparing statutory annual financial statements, working with internal and external auditors, developing and maintaining internal controls, and reviewing and improving existing finance processes and systems.
About This Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing a team of accountants. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years' experience leading accounting teams ideally in large multinationals, fluency in English, prior experience as an auditor, and a Certified Accountant qualification. They will also possess excellent managerial skills, a high-level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics, and be able to confidently present to all levels.

As Regional Chief Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward through effective financial management and leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, managing relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of our company's overall strategy.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent managerial skills with ability to develop and motivate team members
  • 3-5 years' experience leading accounting teams in large multinationals
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Prior experience as an auditor
  • Certified Accountant qualification preferred
  • Mindset that financial data is key asset for company
  • High-level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics
  • Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
