The role of AI QA Engineer involves ensuring the quality of backend systems handling card transactions from initiation to completion.

This position requires embedding quality into our payment infrastructure, guaranteeing reliability, accuracy, and compliance within a high-volume, cloud-native environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shaping and refining QA processes to ensure system robustness, security, and seamless performance under high demands.
  • Diving deeply into the logic behind payment systems, reviewing and refining business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and analysts to ensure comprehensive and testable requirements.
  • Meticulously designing, developing, and executing thorough test plans and cases for APIs, microservices, and complex transaction flows using AI Agent.
  • Designing the high-level testing strategy and blueprint for quality and directing AI agent to perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on critical payment adapters and applications.
  • Leveraging expertise to monitor API performance through tools like Postman, Swagger, and Fiddler, validate backend logic via SQL and NoSQL databases, and enhance system visibility through observability platforms.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of QA processes into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or other AI Tools.
  • Pioneering AI-driven enhancements by evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI-powered QA tools to boost testing productivity and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in backend and API testing.
  • Strong expertise with API testing (Postman, Swagger, Fiddler).
  • Hands-on experience managing test cases and defects using tools like TestRail, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in utilizing observability tools (Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL database querying.
  • Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful APIs.
  • Solid experience in Agile development environments.
