We are seeking an accomplished Ruby expert to join our team. As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create responsive web applications with server-side development utilizing Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement efficient code that is reusable and reliable.
  • Evaluate application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Implement security measures and data protection protocols.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Ruby developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
