We operate globally from our headquarters, factories, and engineering departments in the city of Samsun on the Black Sea coast. As Turkey's leading parts brand, Sampa was recently presented with the ISO 500 manufacturing award for excellence.

Sampa is a unique company for several reasons. Our production area covers 150,000 square meters and includes 11 factories with integrated R&D facilities that design, manufacture, and produce all materials and parts components.

Sampa's workforce is comprised of 4500+ staff, including over 220+ designers and test engineers. They design, develop, and manufacture products for warehouses around the world. Not only do we design and produce the highest quality parts, but we also offer a far wider variety, beyond any competitor, including 24 different families of truck-specific components, totaling more than 150,000 reference parts.

An Accountant is responsible for maintaining a company's financial records and handling various administrative tasks. The job description for this position typically includes the following:

Job Description:

  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software (e.g., Panteon, SAP) or spreadsheets to maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Invoice Preparation and Review: Assist in preparing, verifying, and processing invoices, ensuring all details are accurate before submitting them for approval.
  • Document Organization: Sort, file, and maintain financial documents, receipts, and other paperwork in both physical and digital formats.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling bank statements to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Support the management of accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely payments and collections, and monitor outstanding balances. Assist with cash flow preparation.
  • Expense Tracking: Review and process employee expense reports, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain detailed records.
  • Payroll Support: Provide assistance to the payroll department when needed, including collecting data, timekeeping records, and employee deductions.
  • Month-End/Year-End Closing Assistance: Support the accounting team during month-end or year-end closing processes and prepare necessary documentation or reports.
  • Communication: Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Purchasing) to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to transactions and payments.
  • General Administrative Duties: Perform office tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and other administrative support for the accounting department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • CPA certification is required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience
  • Strong understanding of financial data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP accounting software
  • Excellent command of English.
