Marlo Medic d.o.o., a company specializing in the distribution of medical equipment and the improvement of the healthcare system, is announcing a job opening for an Accountant within the Finance Department due to business growth. The job description, desired candidate profile, and working conditions are provided below:

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Belgrade for an Accountant. The contract is concluded for an indefinite period with a trial period of 3 months. The Accountant will handle tasks such as:


• Control and maintain communication with the SEF system, manage the records of incoming and outgoing invoices, and other ledgers


• Post internally prepared documents and decisions of the company's governing bodies


• Record fixed assets and intangible investments


• Calculate tax and accounting depreciation


• Monitor and control the inventory database of materials and goods, and post purchases, sales, and other changes


• Calculate interest and monitor loans and credits


• Calculate foreign exchange differences


• Monitor and control all general ledger positions


• Control, monitor, and reconcile transactions with related and external legal entities


• Record daily business transactions of subsidiary companies


• Prepare and file VAT returns, as well as all other tax returns


• Work with regular and extraordinary financial inspections and auditing firms during the fiscal year


• Participate in the preparation of daily, periodic, and annual financial statements


• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications


• Completed undergraduate and/or applied studies/master studies in Accounting, Finance, or related economic field


• Proficiency in MS Office package


• Knowledge of the English language


• Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting


• Team spirit, responsibility, and ability to work independently


• Significant advantage: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision)
