Junior Legal Counsel (m/f)
Position Summary
Nestlé Serbia is seeking for a highly motivated Junior Legal Counsel to be part of the Legal Adriatic South Region Team.

As a Junior Legal Counsel you will be in charge of providing legal support to the internal teams in a variety of legal fields, so as to ensure that the Company's objectives are met, in line with all applicable laws and regulations.

Your activities will be primarily focised on operations related to the Surčin factory, while also performing legal activities across the South Adriatic region as instructed by the Legal&Compliance Manager.

You will be constantly involved in finding attractive and innovative solutions to various legal challenges, always adopting a business-oriented attitude while mitigating possible risks.

A day in the life of Junior Legal Counsel:

• Contract Law (Obligations Law) – Drafting, reviewing, and approval of all kind of contracts such as sales, sponsorship, donations, lease, transport, distribution, logistics, construction works etc. in accordance with applicable legislation and in alignment with Company strategy.
• Corporate Law – Preparation of various corporate decisions, share transfer agreements, amendments to founding documents, and maintenance of legal entity records for the South Adriatic region. Responsible for filing and registering all necessary changes related to the legal status of entities within the Adriatic Hub South;
• Representation – Represents the Company before courts and administrative bodies;
• Legal Monitoring and Advisory – Tracks legislative changes, interprets laws, and provides legal support in risk analizes to all departments within the Company; monitoring of internal policies and procedures and ensuring are aligned with current legal requirements;
• Global Legal Collaboration – Communicates with Nestlé's global and regional legal teams on topics such as sustainability, data privacy, competition law, and provides support and guidance to local functions in these areas;
• Compliance Program Implementation – Contributes to and supports the regional legal team in compliance matters. Implements global and regional compliance guidelines and programs, organizes compliance trainings, and actively promotes the development of the Compliance program and Speak Up culture;
• Labor Law Support – Supports the HR department in employment law matters, prepares templates and assists in drafting employment-related documents such as Employment Bylaw and participates in disciplinary procedures when necessary;

What will make you successful

• Minimum 3 years of experience on similar positions;
• Good level of theoretical and practical legal background;
• Good knowledge of the Companies basic activity legal framework;
• Sound understanding of the business;
• Managing time effectively;
• Being service oriented;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Good knowledge of English language (both written and oral);
• Computer Skills
