Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The BI Developer will be responsible for managing our ETL processes, ensuring efficient data extraction from operational databases to reporting databases. You will play a crucial role in database modeling for reporting purposes and utilizing BI tools to display data and construct insightful dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various operational databases into reporting databases.


• Perform data cleansing and transformation to ensure data quality and accessibility.


• Develop and optimize database models for reporting databases to support complex queries and reports.


• Utilize advanced BI tools to create dynamic dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions.


• Ensure data integrity and security across all data storage and reporting tools.


• Monitor performance and provide continuous improvements to the existing ETL processes.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in BI and data warehousing.


• Provide documentation and training to end-users on new reports and dashboards.


• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data issues and inconsistencies.


• Contribute to the development of data analytics strategies to enhance business decision-making.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.


• Proven experience with ETL tools and processes.


• Strong understanding of database modeling, design, and reporting database structures.


• Proficiency with BI tools such as Superset, Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating reports and dashboards.


• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.


• Experience in data analysis and visualization
