What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • You will transform legacy procurement departments into a cluster organization, focusing on team efficiency, optimal purchase conditions, and cross-country synergies
  • In this role you will lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, introducing strategic and operational frameworks
  • Also, you will identify and realize cost-saving opportunities with a strong focus on hard savings and improved payment terms
  • Additionally, you will define and implement sourcing strategies for materials, focusing on cost, quality, supplier relationships, and risk
  • Centralizing warehouse management, ensuring efficient operations, optimized inventory levels, and reduced scrapping costs will be part of this role
  • You will harmonize processes across the cluster, introducing efficiency improvements, automation solutions, and compliance practices

What Makes You Great

  • You own a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar (additional qualifications are a plus)
  • You provide minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in procurement and 3+ years in leadership roles
  • You have strong analytical and negotiation skills, including legal expertise for evaluating contracts
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and data analytics tools (e.g., Celonis) is required
  • You are able to demonstrate expertise in defining strategies, execution, and process optimization
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian or German (additional languages are advantageous) is mandatory
  • Knowledge of the gases industry and local supplier landscapes is preferred but not mandatory
  • You demonstrate a willingness to travel within the cluster
