Job Description

Senior Accountant
will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and preparing reports for management. The role includes supervising a team of accountants and finance officers, monitoring payables and receivables, payroll calculation, treasury functions, as well as assisting the Finance Manager in preparing consolidated reports and management analyses. This position requires advanced knowledge of accounting software (preferably Odoo), excellent proficiency in MS Excel, systematic working habits, and a high level of accuracy.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and management of accountants and finance officers
  • Ensuring the application of accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting deadlines
  • Mentoring and training junior staff to strengthen their professional skills
  • Control of the general ledger, reconciliations, and postings
  • Monitoring accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll calculations, and treasury functions
  • Assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management dashboards
  • Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners

Requirements:

  • University degree (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
  • 7–15 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with databases and financial records
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
